Competition Rules

The Augsburg Westie Station - Competition Rules

Jack & Jill Competitions:

We will be offering Jack & Jill competitions in the following categories:

• Newcomer: First-time competitors or those who have earned no points.

• Novice: Competitors who have earned fewer than 16 Novice points.

• Intermediate: Competitors who have earned 16 or more Novice points.

• Advanced: Competitors who have earned 30 or more Intermediate points.

• All Star: Competitors who have earned 60 or more Advanced points.

• Champion: Competitors who have earned 150 or more All Star points.

• Sophisticated: 35 years of age or older by close of the event. 

• Masters: 50 years of age or older by close of the event. 

Strictly Competitions:

We will be offering Strictly competitions in the following categories:

• Novice / Intermediate: Leader and follower can not have Points in any devision higher then Intermediate.

• Open: Dance with the best! Anyone can join in, regadless of the Level!

General Competition Rules:

All competitions will be judged based on timing, technique, and teamwork.
